Orlando Machuca has been inspiring people with latin dance for 12 years. With his innovative and unique teaching and performance style, he is regularly invited to perform in Congresses, shows, and special events. Orlando’s teaching goes beyond technique to share a deep understanding of music, movement, and culture with students and dancers at all levels of dance experience.
Orlando’s dance is shaped by his Salvadorian ancestry, his studies and travels to El Salvador and Puerto Rico. His dance training began in Washington, DC and he has performed with local and world famous  artists and performers that include Stracy Diaz, Jayson Molina, and Shaka Brown and the ClaveKazi Dance Company.
Currently, he is has founded his own dance company, HD Salsa Dancers, where he continues to share his love of dance. In addition, he teaches regularly in DC at Café Citron and the Salsa Room and he is always available for privates.
